I love how life manifests for me. A couple of weeks ago my boss told me he no longer was happy with how I did my job. But rather than dwell in the initial negative feeling, it took me about an hour to get back to a positive mindset: software engineers are in demand here, and software test engineers even more so. So in a matter of days I had three interviews lined up, and the first one looked the most promising. And one little unexpected surprise, I will not be working for about four weeks, which turned out to be a nice unplanned vacation!
Thus far I've used it to clean up my life. Removed stuff I no longer need, created more empty space in my workshop, sorted stuff I do want to keep in boxes, and decided that the few friends I have on social media are not worth wading through all the stuff that clings to my timeline.
